“Come Back To Ireland” is the brand new duet release from Thomas Maguire & Fhiona Ennis. The Old Time Waltz was written by one of their band members, Eugene Logue from Strabane, Co Tyrone and is based on a true to life situation. It tells of the typical emigrant story of a son heading off to London for the first time with the sentiments of his mother as she deals with the loss of her son and his subsequent return to Ireland after her death. The song was produced by Jonathan Owens and yet again he has come up trumps with an excellent recording. He has managed to capture the true Irish flavour and emotion by including live accordion, whistle and mandolin in this excellent production.“Come Back To Ireland” is a firm favourite on Thomas & Fhiona’s live shows and will be included on a future album.
