The Boy From Donegal

Daniel Comes from Kincasslagh Co Donegal, Daniel is known for his great singing voice and outstanding personality. Daniel's earliest ambition was to be a teacher but a fortuitous meeting with the internationally renowned Up With People organisation while at college in Galway convinced him that he should pursue a career in music.  Subsequently Daniel Joined his sister Margo as part of her band, and during that useful apprenticeship he got the opportunity to sing a few songs on stage.  Two months prior to leaving Margo's Band in 1983 he made his debut as a recording artist by releasing the rather plaintive song "Donegal Shore".  Although Daniel was unaware of it, Donegal Shore was soon receiving considerable airplay and would become popular in both Ireland and the U.K.
